My name is Kaja Večko, and I am a translator and interpreter working with Slovenian, English, and German.

I completed my studies in translation in Ljubljana before continuing my education in Graz, where I earned a master’s degree in translation for English and German.

Throughout my career, I have worked with texts from a variety of fields and collaborated with organisations and institutions such as Amnesty International, the European Commission, the University of Ljubljana, and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

In addition to translation, I provide both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting from English and German into Slovenian, as well as proofreading services in Slovenian, English, and German.

My interest in languages began at an early age through books, films, and a curiosity about different cultures and ways of communication. Over time, this developed into a profession that allows me to work across languages and help people connect clearly and naturally.
